I’m not a very original mother. But I have a pretty original profession.
One of the hardest things for me after I had my first baby was finding a comfortable baby carrier, suitable for a big heavy baby who gained 2 pounds per month. I tried several types before I happened to find the one which saved my back from serious damage, after a very difficult month with aching arms and shoulders.
When I decided to become a stay-at-home mom, a few months later, I had to find some means of contributing to the family income, and so I used my bad experience at carrier-hunting and turned it into a profession. I call it BCC:
Baby Carrier Consultant.
What does a BCC do? Essentially, I help mothers (and fathers, if they want me to) to find out which baby carrier is the most suitable for them, show them how to use it and explain to them how it can make their life easier.
I firmly believe a comfortable Baby Carrier is the key to enjoying parenting, no matter where you live, how much money you’ve got on or what are your views on child raring. I’ll use this Blog to share all I know about Baby Carriers. Hope you enjoy it ![]()
