The cradle hold

The cradle hold is practically the ideal position for a tiny Newborn. It is the closest to being back in the womb a baby may feel, so may be very relaxing for the baby. It is also the easiest position for hands-free breastfeeding- a huge advantage for tired moms during the first months, when many babies are ready to nurse almost all the time.
You can use either a sling (of any kind) or a wrap to cradle your baby.
