Got an apron?

In modern society most moms buy ready-made carriers, but if your income is limited there is no reason to give up carrying your baby just because you can’t afford an expensive carrier. You don’t even have to sew your own carrier (unless you actually enjoy it :-)).
Any piece of cloth, such as a pareo, a shawl (or “Rebozo“) or even an apron, can turn into a carrier without any sewing, like they do in traditional societies. If that’s good enough for Madonna, it can work for anyone, I guess
