Many parents I meet object to the wrap around carrier. The main objections are these:
They feel unable to master all the tying methods.
They dislike the long fabric dragging on the dirty ground.
They complain of the heat.
To all of these objections there is an answer: No-tie wraps.
These are elastic carriers, that you can use just like an elastic wrap, only they require no or very little tying. Once they’re on, they look just like a wrap, but it takes less time to wear them, there is less fabric so less heat and no fabric dragged on the floor while wearing.
Some no-tie wraps I know are Baby-k’tan, “Sharon Dror” and Loopi carrier.

A wrap is usually just a long piece of fabric. It can be tied in many ways but some moms, especially new to the carrier business, flinch from them, because they do require some practice.
This one though has leg holes which make it a little easier to wear. A lovely idea!
