Many parents I meet object to the wrap around carrier. The main objections are these:
They feel unable to master all the tying methods.
They dislike the long fabric dragging on the dirty ground.
They complain of the heat.
To all of these objections there is an answer: No-tie wraps.
These are elastic carriers, that you can use just like an elastic wrap, only they require no or very little tying. Once they’re on, they look just like a wrap, but it takes less time to wear them, there is less fabric so less heat and no fabric dragged on the floor while wearing.
Some no-tie wraps I know are Baby-k’tan, “Sharon Dror” and Loopi carrier.

Orit, It is really great that you share your insight and experience. Thank you. There are people who are overwhelmed by the whole wrapping process. We firmly believe that everyone should wear their babies – whatever style carrier fits best. The patent pending design of the Baby Ktan Baby Carrier uses two loops with a special stretch engineered into the 100% natural cotton fabric. Also, the adjustable back support band that connects the loops gives the extra advantage of situating the “X” lower on the back – making it more comfortable and allowing both baby and caregiver to be comfortable. At Baby Ktan, our motto is “Enjoy the Ride”.
